Tianjin Sorun Digital Software Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Tianjin Sorun) is a company established in May 2006 in Tianjin City. Tianjin Sorun is jointly invested by three organizations: Sorun Corporation in Japan, Nankai University, one of the key national universities in China, and Digital Hollywood Corporation in Japan.

While digital media technology continues to advance rapidly, the digital media industry is facing a lack of human resources. Sorun Corporation, taking advantage of its financial strength and excellent software and overseas business development capability, together with cooperation from Nankai University, which has established a high social reputation and position with its abundant educational and human resources, and Digital Hollywood Corporation, which has accumulated experience in the education of human resources for the digital media industry in Japan, officially entered into a joint venture agreement on February 15, 2006, and declared the establishment of the joint venture company.

Gaining strong support from Tianjin City Government, Tianjin Sorun will adopt cutting edge Japanese digital media technology and educational methods, cooperate with Sorun College of Digital Media at Nankai University (establishment is being prepared) and devote its energy to fostering skilled human resources required by the digital media industry in China.

Tianjin Sorun will foster human resources, carry out research and development, create digital media contents and make efforts to contribute to the development of the digital media industry in China.

Matsumoto Keisan Center Co., Ltd., predecessor of the present Sorun Corporation, was established in 1970 in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, and, after a series of mergers and management integrations, changed its name to Sorun Corporation in October 2001.
Sorun Corporation entered the Chinese market early on. Its group company, Beijing Sorun Computer Co., Ltd., was established in 1992 and has been awarded titles, including "China's Key Software Enterprise under National Planning of 2004," "2005 Top 20 Export Records in China´s Software Enterprises" and "2005 Top 20 Outsourcing Development Records in China´s Software Enterprises," while maintaining healthy growth.
